We need your help to send those children to attend school
2001 Relief Trip
August 2001 we went to Kam Pong Speu Province to assisted over 1000 students and poor families who were suffering from flood.
Our objectives for 2001 were to help alleviate the suffering of flood victims in these provincial towns:
- Kompong Speu
- Kompong Thom
- Prey Veng and
- Siem Reap, the home of the famous wonders of world ANGKOR WAT temple complexes
We accomplished our mission with $18,000 in contributions from various donors which we used to provide medicines, reading glasses, school supplies, children's school uniforms, rice, and rice seeds to 1,500 families and 1,500 students including orphan children.
These farmers were especially hard hit due to recent floods that had destroyed/damaged their homes, livestock's, and crops.
We were met with warm welcome and appreciation from the peoples and governors of these provinces.
