Contribution for 2002 were $45,000, an increase of 150% from 2001. Because of such overwhelming support from donors our expeditions to the Provinces of Takeo, Kampot and Prey Veng were extremely successful.

We assisted well over 2,000 starving families with 65 tons of rice including rice seeds, dug 37 drinking/irrigation wells (with donor's name on each well), and made it possible for more than 2,000 students to attend school full-time.

We also initiated an on-going program in which we are supplementing salary for 12 teachers at $20 per month/per teacher for an entire school year.

Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill was right when he talked about what a single well could do for poor/destitute community in terms of clean water/sanitation while he was in Africa.

It's beyond our ability to understand the happiness/appreciation expressed by the villagers for such mundane ammenities.

For that simple, but, forever lasting's gift of life we will dig more and more wells every year hereafter.

We also donated 200 sets of school uniforms and helped purchase 2,000 hand made Cambodian silk scarves from the Street Children Assistance& Development Program. Through our actions the beneficiaries are school dropouts, former street gangs, victims of domestic violence and sexual abuses as well as working children such as beggars, scavengers and shoe polishers.
